Why Clients Like My Work
My approach is built around listening carefully to clients, assessing areas of tension, and adapting techniques in real time. By combining the flowing, calming nature of Swedish massage with focused work on chronically tight, overstretched, or overworked muscles, clients receive a treatment that feels restorative while still addressing underlying discomfort.
Rather than using a one-size-fits-all method, every session is tailored to the individual. The goal is to create space for healing by applying precisely the amount of pressure needed to encourage release without sacrificing comfort.
“Stephanie is amazing. She listens and provides both relaxing and therapeutic massage. I look forward to this monthly.” — Stephanie F.
“Fantastic, I’m pregnant and she made sure I was comfortable the entire time using the right amount of pressure. The head, scalp, and neck massage was my favorite. I left feeling incredibly relaxed and cared for.” — Sarah M.
“Stephanie did a wonderful job. While she spent plenty of time on the areas I requested, she managed to find tension in places I hadn’t realized needed attention. She used the perfect pressure to make the massage therapeutic but also kept me relaxed, and checked in to make sure I was comfortable multiple times. Truly left in a blissful state and will definitely be back soon!” — Julianne H.
Adapting pressure can be self-conscious business. Every body is different and different mindsets surrounding what kind of pressure brings relief can feel overwhelming as a therapist. However, I find it comes in the silence of the session. The warming of the tissue shows where things are stuck or where blockages live. So often it is the places not experiencing the discomfort that refer pain. As important as it is to listen and apply time to where my clients are feeling the discomfort it is of equal importance to follow the muscles that lead there. Balancing the time required to give an adhesion the space and blood flow needed to relax while addressing muscles referring discomfort with maintaining the flow that melts a client into the table is an intuitive science. A science that I will say existed as a new therapist, but has been sharpened over the years of caring for others.
Hearing of lessening my clients pain and making moving between sessions easier is such a gift. Being able to care for others is my life’s purpose and I do not take the responsibility lightly. I am filled with gratitude that the intention to adapt each session to an individuals needs is received by my clients and that it keeps them coming back.
